Program Objectives

The objective of the  Business & Computer Applications course is to expose the student to the most relevant aspects of business management and administration, while providing the student with the tools required for a career in business. Because the business world is very dynamic, students are taught to keep up to date with the latest developments and business trends by reading financial newspapers, books, and magazines. The student will also develop practical skills in software applications for major office functions. Students will be provided with "hands-on" training on a computer. In addition, the student will be taught the terms, concepts, and methods to fully utilize each application.

In addition, graduates of this diploma program will have interdisciplinary skills, allowing them to be valuable members of the business community.
