Program Objectives

The Home Support Worker/Personal Care Attendant program prepares students to deliver appropriate short or long-term care assistance and support services in either a long-term care facility or in home care. The program will educate and train graduates with the necessary tools and skills to deliver appropriate, timely, and respectful client-focused care to the elderly, persons with disabilities or those recovering from illness or injuries and their families.

Career paths are wide and varied. Successful graduates can expect careers in long-term care facilities or private home care.
